Patricia Dawson, Executive Head of MLIA-Shenzhen
Patricia Dawson，多伦多大学教育学博士，博士拥有多年成功的教学及管理经验，曾执教于多所知名院校，先后担任多所学校的中学副校长、校长等职务，深受学生、家长和教育界同仁认可和尊重。加盟枫叶前二十年，Dawson博士一直担任位于加拿大温哥华著名的克柔佛顿中学(Crofton House School)校长职务。该校于1898年成立，至今已有121年的办学历史，在北美和英国伊顿公学齐名。她在任期间，该校在加拿大及不列颠哥伦比亚省多年排名第一。
Dr. Patricia Dawson is an experienced educational leader who has worked in both the independent and public school systems in Canada. She obtained her Doctor of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto. Dr. Dawson began her career in education with the Kent County Board of Education in Ontario where she held various teaching positions including Secondary Principal and Vice Principal. She then spent five years at Ridley College as Deputy Head of School. Before she came to work with Maple Leaf, Dr. Dawson was the Head of Crofton House School in Vancouver, British Columbia, a position she had held for the past 19 years. She has also been very involved in the Canadian Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) having served for two years as Chair of the Board followed by two years as Co-chair of the newly formed Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS). Dr. Dawson has also chaired five CAIS accreditation teams in independent schools across Canada.
Lynn Luo, graduated from Beijing University (BA and MA) and the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada (Ph.D.), has been working with Maple Leaf Educational Systems for over a dozen years and has served at the Systems’ English Teaching Centre and Maple Leaf Research Institute. She was appointed as the vice principal of Maple Leaf International Academy—Shenzhen in August 2019.
Angela Zhang, MLES President Assistant & MLIA-Shenzhen School Marketing Director
Ms. Zhang received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from the University of British Columbia, and a Master of Arts in Education Management from Royal Roads University. She joined Maple Leaf in 2010, served as Foreign Affairs Manager, Executive Assistant to BC Superintendent, Director of Administration Office, Marketing Director of Maple Leaf Educational Systems. She received many honors such as “Maple Leaf Excellence Medal Winner”, “Maple Leaf Honorary Alumni” and etc.
Hongyu Lian, Director of High School Chinese Program
Ms. Lian achieved master degree of Chinese International Education in Liaoning Normal University and joined Maple Leaf in 2012. Ms. Lian successively worked as Chinese language teacher in Dalian Maple Leaf High School and the person in charge of Chinese courses of Canada Maple Leaf Kamloops High School.
Ms. Lian applied the Maple Leaf education philosophy --- combining Chinese and Western education to cultivate international elites and talents.
May Liu, Finance Manager
May Liu obtained the Bachelor of Accounting from Shenyang University. She have been working with Maple Leaf since 2017, and now is the Finance Manager of MLIA-Shenzhen.
